Will you get rich breeding Silver Arowana - no. Will you flood the market (if you manage to breed them) in a very short time? Yes. Better chance of making money on Jardini. We are talking dams though not tanks unless you have massive aquaculture tanks and inducement. Black Arowana in Australia are smuggled in. None have bred here to my knowledge.
Im about to rescue a 3" arowana. The lfs is calling it a rainbow arowana,never hurd of one. Looks like a silver with rainbow fins. Ive seen baby silvers with the same thing,this little dude has ripped fins and a few scales missing. I will be putting him in a quorantine tank with a small ray. Ill be treating the water with meliflyx for faster

well the arowana is 4 1/2 inches i also have a 2 inch adonnis pleco and some feeder guppies. it is a 29 gallon tank. i do not have any snails in the tank but i recently bought some live plants and there were snails in the bag with the plants but i did not put them in the tank. the fins do not stick together but it looks like they have some excess slime on the tail, but it is not reddening at
